A person that will never move to the next level and will never become better at a particular sport, job etc. They are called "professional" amateurs because it is.
Amateur professionalism
Description:I'm going to ask you to consider being a professional. But, before I do and before you can answer the question I posed, I need to make sure you are fully aware of what I mean when I talk about being a professional. For me, the difference is simple: A professional always does everything necessary to complete a job. An amateur sometimes chooses only the fun parts.
